At its simplest form, self-compassion is treating oneself with the same kindness you would treat a dear friend.  The 8-week Mindful Self-Compassion course was developed by Drs. Chris Germer and Kristin Neff in 2010. The course comes from years of research and study of mindfulness and self-compassion.

Kristen Genzano is a Licensed Professional Counselor* with a private practice in Portland.  She's passionate about teaching Mindful Self-Compassion as it has deepened her relationship with herself beyond her expectations.
